Stack fumigation can be undertaken for Agricultural produce by fumigating under gas proof cover for the control of Storage Pests like beetles, weevils and moths. Stack fumigation is also carried out for export and import consignments and Wooden Packaging Material (WPM). Containers Fumigation
Export containers are normally fumigated before being loaded on board the ship. Our trained fumigation technicians do the fumigation of both export and import containers following all the norms which vary as per the commodity packaging and the destination.
Ship Fumigation
Fumigation for commodities is also carried out on board ships, barges, chartered and liner ships. The fumigation for Export and Import is in accordance with plant quarantine rules and regulations. We offer Fumigation of bagged and bulk cargoes with Methyl Bromide and Aluminium Phosphide.
ISPM 15 for Wooden Packaging Material (WPM) Fumigation
These regulations are known worldwide as ISPM 15 and are recognized by the World Trade Organization, they are intended to prevent the spread of timber pests throughout the world. All shipments using any kind of solid wood packaging must be fumigated by a Directorate of Plant Protection and Quarantine approved agency and endorsed with ISPM 15 stamp before being allowed entry to or crossing through a participating country. Insect Monitoring for Storage Pests
Insect Monitoring service is primarily for monitoring the presence Stored Insect Pests in food storage warehouses. Insect Monitoring service is done by installing insect pheromone traps within the premises. These traps are specific for each insect. Traps are installed in areas such as production areas of food processing units and areas handling dry foods and food products Pheromone trap counts are carried out at a fixed interval and when they cross a predecided Threshold level corrective interventions are initiated in the form of Spot Application of pesticides and or fumigation of the entire lot to manage insect pests..
